Contemporary art acts as a neoliberal enforcer after Suhail Malik and thus should be exited- but how? And why would one believe this? Dio, in the face of God is a mixed media installation asking exactly this question, through a discussion of three characters in a fictional tech-style lobby or store of a speculative studio named dieinternet.org. The characters playing through two audio channels discuss the topic of art, subjectivity, and cultural production of the future under dooming climate collapse. The character's voices are often leading into monologues of expertise or euphoria and are interrupted by mainstream pop music, folk songs, Office ASMR sounds, or church songs. Therefore, centering belief at its core.
